Motorsport.com, a Miami-based provider of a diverse motorsports digital platform, has acquired Wildsoft, a leading digital statistical database for several forms of auto racing. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Wildsoft deal marked the beginning of Motorsport.com’s strategic business initiative of standardizing, hosting the most comprehensive motorsports statistical database in the world.
Filippo Salza, interim president Motorsport.com, said in a statement: “The acquisition of Wildsoft.ru is a strategic first step in Motorsport.com hosting the most comprehensive motorsports statistical database in the world”, and added: “Providing our readership fast and accurate statistics of series, team and pilot news is of utmost importance. By adding Wildsoft’s assets to our portfolio adds significant value to our existing industry-leading and global editorial race coverage.”
Dmitry Cherepovich, owner Wildsoft, said in a statement: “When evaluating opportunities to develop the largest and most comprehensive motorsports statistical database in the world, Motorsport.com was the only digital media partner worthy of such a huge program.”
As a part of the Motorsport.com, Wildsoft's owner Dmitry Cherepovich will lead the technical development and integration of the statistical database for multiple series’ on the digital platform."
