Invoice Cloud has acquired former competitor, MCC (Metropolitan Communications, LLC). The deal creates the highest adopting, easiest to use, and best supported e-payment solution set in the marketplace. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Metropolitan Communications LLC (MCC) provides a comprehensive SaaS platform that helps clients manage school, recreation and community activities online. MCC’s strong e-bill product is used by more than 100 local government clients for e-billing, online payments and bill processor tax services.
States Bob Bennett, Invoice Cloud CEO, said in a statement:
“To build a great company, one needs to recruit and retain great people. While competing against MCC, we often heard how excellent their people, customer support and data exchange interfaces were. We are excited to be adding great people, top notch support and excellent technology to our e-billing and e-payment platform. MCC brings us several strong web-based applications designed to meet the collection, registration, and online payment needs of schools, recreation departments and communities. This combination should be a huge win for our mutual clients who will have an opportunity to migrate to the highest adopting, easiest to use, and best supported e-payment solution set in the marketplace.”
Invoice Cloud has been busy beefing up its portfolio and capabilities. Last year, it acquired HealthPay24, a healthcare payment solution provider.
Headquartered in Braintree, Massachusetts, Invoice Cloud is a privately-owned company that provides Trusted, Secure E-Payment and highest adopting Electronic Bill Presentment (EBPP) Solutions. The company is a high-growth company with over 500 clients in 36 states in the United States.
