Seagate Technology Acquires Dot Hill To Boost Cloud Offerings

Microsoft: Acquired at least 15 companies between 2019-2024. The total spending on acquisitions during this period exceeds $30 billion.

Google: Acquired 33 companies between 2019 and 2024. Total acquisition costs are estimated to be in the range of $10-15 billion.

Apple: Known for its strategy of smaller acquisitions, Apple made over 20 acquisitions from 2019 to 2024. Reports said around $2 billion spent during this period.

IBM: From 2019 to 2024, IBM acquired about 15 companies. The total value of IBM’s acquisitions is estimated at around $36 billion for this period.

Oracle: Oracle has acquired over 10 companies during 2019-2024. Total spending on acquisitions is estimated at around $30 billion.

Meta Platforms (formerly Facebook): Between 2019 and 2024, Meta acquired around 10 companies. Spending on acquisitions is estimated to be around $4-5 billion.
